WE ARE A 501c3 CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Panhandle Safe Hayven Equine Rescue, Inc.

is to improve and save the lives of equines

in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas by

    1. Educating the public about proper horse care.
    2. Offering help to horse owners in times of natural or personal disaster.
    3. Rehabilitating abused and neglected equines.
    4. Placing equines in approved adoptive homes.
    5. Assisting law enforcement in the seizure of abused or neglected animals.

The PSHER provides a haven for mistreated, neglected and abandoned horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules.

We also take in horses whose owners can no longer, for whatever reason, care for them properly.

In essence, PSHER provides the same services as a humane organization dedicated to house pets, just on a larger scale.
